The International Young Leadership Forum (IYLF) is a high level, multidisciplinary, and globally oriented academic exchange platform jointly initiated by New Zealand Chinese Scientists Association and the New Zealand Society for Education and Culture (NZSEC). Designed for emerging global scholars, the forum aims to foster cross-disciplinary innovation and forward-thinking dialogue in the era of digitalization and intelligent technologies. It seeks to identify and nurture future academic leaders and industry pioneers who will shape the development of science, humanities, and society.

Call for Abstracts

The 2nd International Young Leaders Forum 2026 (IYLF2026) focuses on innovation-driven pathways toward a sustainable future in the context of global transitions toward sustainability and intelligent transformation. Fields including biotechnology, clean energy and environmental engineering, digital technologies, and smart manufacturing are reshaping modes of production, industrial infrastructures, and value systems, while posing new challenges and opportunities for young researchers and educators in an era of rapid technological convergence.

The Forum aims to provide a high-level international platform for postgraduate students, early-career researchers, and young educators from around the world to exchange ideas and engage in cross-disciplinary dialogue. It welcomes research and perspectives related to sustainable development, climate change, energy transition, environmental protection, digital ethics, intelligent technologies, and integration of scientific research with educational innovation.

The forum will be held in Auckland, New Zealand, a country renowned for magnificent natural landscapes and strong commitment to environmental stewardship. As the host city, Auckland exemplifies the harmonious integration of innovation and sustainability.
